The presentation uses the TC 2008-09 HOT tables as illustrations but the techniques for using the tables remain applicable. Below is a summary of the main differences introduced in the TC 2009-10 tables.
The principal changes in the Transport Canada HOT guidelines for Winter 2009-2010 from the previous year are:
Update to the HOT Tables individual cell
• On going updates to the holdover time as a results to continue research and development testing.
Holdover Times in Active Frost Conditions
• Active frost holdover times for all fluid types have been moved from the holdover time tables to a new active frost holdover time table.
Operations during Ice Pellet Conditions
• Expanded and modified guidance material is provided for operations during ice pellet conditions.

Note that these guidelines are applicable to ALL currently supported Bombardier Aerospace aircraft including Learjet, Challenger, CRJ, GX and Dash 8 product lines.
