Any update to the recurrent version of the Winter Operations Awareness: Takeoff Operational Safety Enhancement course. A new winter season is just around the corner and we will need to do this recurrent course
  • Yan Zheng
Hi J. Benedet, both the initial and recurrent versions of the "Winter Operations Awareness: Takeoff Operational Safety Enhancement" will be available within the next two weeks. You should be able to view them online by September 29, 2009. Please note that both of the above mentioned material is new this year. It is therefore recommended that flight crews should review the "Initial" version this year wherever possible, with the recurrent version being applicable for subsequent years in most cases. In your question, you referred to recurrent material. You may mean the follow-on material for the "Enhancement to Take-off Operational Safety Margins Training" material. Please note that this material, which is associated with the AD and AFM requirements, is unchanged for recurrent purposes and should be used as-is to reset the training requirements in the AFM and AD actions. Thanks for your interest in our training products. Hope this helps.
  • J. Benedet
You are absolutely correct, I was referring to the "Enhancement to Take-off Operational Safety Margins Training" material. (per AFM / AD)
I will review the original material and look forward to going over the "Winter Operations Awareness: Takeoff Operational Safety Enhancement" material at the end of the month.

    Thank you,
