The following questions were asked at the last Customer Meeting at the Montreal Training Center on October 18th, 2007:

Question Will the PMAT training available on CD-Rom?

Answer: It is available to Customers through on the web and can be access at www.batraining.com. There is no plan for the PMAT simulator to be made available on CD-Rom at this time.

A description and demo of the PMAT can be located here:

Question: Q: There is a rumour floating around that Bombardier training may be sold to CAE. Is this true? You should put more information about this partnership in the Customer Forum Newsletter.

Answer: There is no truth to the rumour that Bombardier Training will be sold to CAE. We have signed into a partnership with CAE, where they will be Bombardier’s “Authorized Training Provider” (ATP).  We will be combining the strengths of both companies (Data Packages, Courseware, I.P. -> Bombardier and building of simulators -> CAE). Bombardier will utilize the geographic footprint of CAE Training Facilities around the world in order to position simulators where Customers will benefit from the proper location the most. Currently, our plans are to have a Global simulator in the U.K. for April 2008, another Global simulator in Dubai for mid-2009, and a Challenger 300 simulator in Morristown, New Jersey by December 2008. Other simulators/locations will follow shortly.

The following question was asked at the last Customer Meeting at the Montreal Training Center on August 30th, 2007:

Question: Why doesn’t Bombardier have something in place to support operators with the cabin management system? We understand that the training has been cancelled. We shouldn’t have to pay to have a trainer on site to teach our people how to use.

Answer: Bombardier is providing web-based training for the Global, Challenger 605 and Challenger 300 interiors – 75% of this course addresses the cabin management system. A one-day and a two-day course is available free of charge to operators of these aircraft. For registration information, please contact ba_training@aero.bombardier.com. The Global Express, Global XRS, and Challenger 605 web-based courses are currently available. The Challenger 300 course will be available towards the end of the fourth quarter 2007.
