This 8-day course provides the client with in depth instruction on all aspects of the aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
The Avionics Course furnishes the experienced technician with sufficient information to carry out the required maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting necessary to maintain the aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Clients must possess some knowledge of digital techniques and data communications. Practical training includes instructor lead exercises and troubleshooting scenarios using the Central Aircraft Information Maintenance System (CAIMS) portable maintenance access terminal (PMAT) simulator.

New Technical Training Learjet 31a Maintenance Refresher, June 28 – July 2, 2010 and/or July 19 – 23, 2010

This five-day course is a review and update for maintenance personnel who have completed the Learjet 31A Initial Type or Ramp and Transit Course.

The Refresher/Update Course furnishes the experienced aircraft technician with information pertaining to the latest updates, improvements, modifications, and service bulletins applicable to the Learjet 31A aircraft. This highly interactive course provides a forum for clients to actively discuss their real-life discrepancies.

Practical training includes hands-on applications with actual aircraft parts and use of the Learjet 31A full-flight simulator (FFS) if available.

The Refresher/Update Course exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for IA Renewal, Maintenance Awards Program, repair station, and FAR 135 certificates for the Learjet 31A aircraft.

The Initial Type Course furnishes the experienced technician with sufficient information to carry out the required maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting necessary to certify the continued airworthiness of the aircraft.

Engine run (ground operations) training is carried out in the Learjet 31A full-flight simulator (FFS). Practical training includes hands-on applications with actual aircraft parts.

This ATA 104 Level 3 course meets Transport Canada (TC), Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 147 (B1), Civilian Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) type course training requirements for the Learjet 31A aircraft. This course exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for IA Renewal, Maintenance Awards Program, repair station, and FAR 135 certificates for the Learjet 31A aircraft.

Note: Clients not requiring engine run (ground operations) training will receive a Bombardier course completion certificate in lieu of a recognized regulatory certificate.

This 13-day course provides the client with indepth instruction on all aspects of the aircraft, including engine run (ground operations) procedures. This course furnishes the experienced technician with sufficient information to perform the required maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting necessary to certify the continued airworthiness of the aircraft.

Practical training includes approximately 13 hours in the Challenger 300 Level 5 flight training device (FTD).

This ATA 104 Level 3 course meets Transport Canada (TC) and Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 147 (B1) training requirements for the Challenger 300 aircraft. This course exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for IA Renewal, Maintenance Awards Program, repair station, and FAR 135 certificates for the Challenger 300 aircraft.
