New Technical Training Learjet 31a Maintenance Refresher, June 28 – July 2, 2010 and/or July 19 – 23, 2010

This five-day course is a review and update for maintenance personnel who have completed the Learjet 31A Initial Type or Ramp and Transit Course.

The Refresher/Update Course furnishes the experienced aircraft technician with information pertaining to the latest updates, improvements, modifications, and service bulletins applicable to the Learjet 31A aircraft. This highly interactive course provides a forum for clients to actively discuss their real-life discrepancies.

Practical training includes hands-on applications with actual aircraft parts and use of the Learjet 31A full-flight simulator (FFS) if available.

The Refresher/Update Course exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for IA Renewal, Maintenance Awards Program, repair station, and FAR 135 certificates for the Learjet 31A aircraft.

This seven-day course provides the experienced Challenger 604 technician with system differences training on the Challenger 850 aircraft.
The course focuses primarily on Challenger 850 system differences.
This course exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for IA Renewal, Maintenance Awards Program, repair station, and FAR 135 certificates for the Challenger 850 aircraft. This course also meets Transport Canada (TC) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 147 (B1/B2) requirements for differences training on the Challenger 850 aircraft.

The Refresher/Update Course furnishes the experienced aircraft technician with information pertaining to the latest updates, improvements, modifications, and service bulletins applicable to Challenger 600/601-1A-3A/R aircraft. This highly interactive course provides a forum for customers to actively discuss their real-life discrepancies.
Practical training is carried out in the Challenger 601 cockpit procedures trainer (CPT).
The Refresher/Update Course exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for IA Renewal, Maintenance Awards Program, repair station, and FAR 135 certificates for the Challenger aircraft.

New Technical Training Lear 60 Avionics Date Added June 28 – July 2, 2010

This five-day course provides the client with specialized training on the Learjet 60 avionics systems.

The Avionics Course furnishes the experienced aircraft technician with information pertaining to operation of the communication, navigation (short- and long- range), and the automatic flight control (flight guidance) system. It provides sufficient working knowledge of these systems to allow the technician to participate in troubleshooting at the line maintenance level.

Practical training includes hands-on applications with actual aircraft parts and the Learjet 60 full-flight simulator (FFS) or Level 5 flight training device (FTD) or full-flight simulator (FFS).

This ATA Level 4 course meets European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 147 (B2) and Civilian Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) requirements. An additional 2 days is added to the course to meet EASA B2 requirements and allow time to cover the required ATA’s for this certification. The course also exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for IA Renewal, Maintenance Awards Program, repair station, and FAR 135 certificates for the Learjet 60 aircraft.
