The Avionics Course furnishes the experienced technician with sufficient information to carry out the required maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting necessary to maintain the aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Clients must possess some knowledge of digital techniques and data communications. Practical training includes instructor lead exercises and troubleshooting scenarios using the Central Aircraft Information Maintenance System (CAIMS) portable maintenance access terminal (PMAT) simulator.

This highly interactive course provides a forum for clients to actively discuss their real-life discrepancies.

Practical training includes hands-on applications with actual aircraft parts and use of the Learjet 31A full-flight simulator (FFS) if available.

Engine run (ground operations) training is carried out in the Learjet 31A full-flight simulator (FFS). Practical training includes hands-on applications with actual aircraft parts.

This ATA 104 Level 3 course meets Transport Canada (TC), Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 147 (B1), Civilian Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) type course training requirements for the Learjet 31A aircraft. This course exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for IA Renewal, Maintenance Awards Program, repair station, and FAR 135 certificates for the Learjet 31A aircraft.

This five-day course provides the client with specialized training on the Learjet 60 avionics systems.

The Avionics Course furnishes the experienced aircraft technician with information pertaining to operation of the communication, navigation (short- and long- range), and the automatic flight control (flight guidance) system. It provides sufficient working knowledge of these systems to allow the technician to participate in troubleshooting at the line maintenance level.

Practical training includes hands-on applications with actual aircraft parts and the Learjet 60 full-flight simulator (FFS) or Level 5 flight training device (FTD) or full-flight simulator (FFS).

This ATA Level 4 course meets European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 147 (B2) and Civilian Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) requirements. An additional 2 days is added to the course to meet EASA B2 requirements and allow time to cover the required ATA's for this certification. The course also exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for IA Renewal, Maintenance Awards Program, repair station, and FAR 135 certificates for the Learjet 60 aircraft.

The Refresher/Update Course furnishes the experienced technician who has attended Initial Type or Avionics Course with information pertaining to systems that have been identified as requiring further knowledge due to improvements, updates, new software, and issues raised by the operators. The course includes a review in these areas as well as instruction on the corresponding troubleshooting approach.
The Refresher/Update Course allows technicians to share their own
in-service experience. Instruction is provided by two-instructors; each is a specialist in Mechanical or Avionics systems.
This course exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for IA Renewal, Maintenance Awards Program, repair station, and FAR 135 certificates for the Global aircraft.

This one-week (five-day) course provides the client with both systems review and troubleshooting experience on aircraft systems that require troubleshooting in the field on the Global aircraft.
The Refresher/Update Course furnishes the experienced technician who has attended Initial Type, Ramp and Transit, or Avionics Course with information pertaining to systems that have been identified as requiring further knowledge due to improvements, updates, new software, and issues raised by the operators. The course includes a review in these areas as well as corresponding troubleshooting exercises.
Practical training includes exercises and troubleshooting scenarios carried out by the client using laptop computers, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (CD ROM), and a central aircraft information maintenance system (CAIMS) portable maintenance access terminal (PMAT) simulator. Practical training also includes sessions in the Global Level 5 flight training device (FTD).
This course exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for IA Renewal, Maintenance Awards Program, repair station, and FAR 135 certificates for the Global aircraft.

The CRJ Series World Wide Operators Conference and Trade Show will be held from June 11th through 15th at the Palais des Congrès in Montreal, Canada. Participants are invited to stay at the Hotel InterContinental. The conference will be an interactive and informative experience for all in attendance. It will serve to highlight our joint achievements; provide updates on major program and in-service issues for all our CRJ fleet types and provide participants the opportunity to network with the airlines and support and services organizations from around the world.
