Business Aircraft Technical Courses
Overview
Maintenance training is primarily oriented towards the maintenance technician working within an operator's line or base environment. The training adheres to the definition outlined in ATA 104 Guidelines for Aircraft Maintenance Training and is delivered by a team of professional maintenance instructors. Each instructor has extensive experience in aircraft maintenance and instruction. Achievement of the instructional objectives ensures that the customer's maintenance personnel are well prepared to maintain the aircraft to the highest possible standards.
Students registered in an Aircraft Technical Course, should possess an AME license or an equivalent foreign license or be currently active in aircraft maintenance activities and have at least one year of aircraft experience. Training is designed for students that have a functional comprehension level of the English language. For students who do not meet this requirement, interpreted courses can be accommodated with an associated increase in course duration.
SAFETY SHOES AND SAFETY GLASSES FOR AIRCRAFT VISITS
Occupational Safety and Health regulations at Bombardier facilities mandate that the use of safety shoes (steel toe) and safety glasses are to be worn by all persons while in the production areas.
Note: Aircraft visits are conducted on all Initial Type, Avionics EASA B2 Type courses.
A new pair of safety glasses is provided by the training center for your use. However, you may prefer to bring your own pair if you have prescription safety glasses as the provided pairs don’t fit over all types of eye glasses.
We highly recommend you bring your own pair of safety shoes with you to the training center. Over-shoe style safety toe protectors will be provided for those not having their own safety shoes.
