Challenger 300 Avionics Course
Description
This five-day course provides the client with specialized training on the Challenger 300 avionics systems.
The Avionics Course furnishes the experienced aircraft technician with information pertaining to operation of the communication, navigation (short- and long-range), and the automatic flight control (flight guidance) system. It provides sufficient working knowledge of these systems to allow the technician to participate in troubleshooting at the line maintenance level.
Practical training includes approximately four hours in the Challenger 300 Level 5 flight training device (FTD).
This ATA Level 4 course meets Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 147 (B2), and Civilian Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) requirements. An additional three days is added to the course to meet EASA B2 requirements and allow time to cover the required ATA's for this certification. B2 training includes approximately two hours in the Challenger Level 5 flight training device (FTD). This course exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for IA Renewal, Maintenance Awards Program, repair station, and FAR 135 certificates for the Challenger 300 aircraft.
