Description
This five-day course provides the client with specialized training on the Learjet 60 avionics systems.
The Avionics Course furnishes the experienced aircraft technician with information pertaining to operation of the communication, navigation (short- and long- range), and the automatic flight control (flight guidance) system. It provides sufficient working knowledge of these systems to allow the technician to participate in troubleshooting at the line maintenance level.
Practical training includes hands-on applications with actual aircraft parts and the Learjet 60 full-flight simulator (FFS) or Level 5 flight training device (FTD) or full-flight simulator (FFS).
This ATA Level 4 course meets European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 147 (B2) and Civilian Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) requirements. An additional 2 days is added to the course to meet EASA B2 requirements and allow time to cover the required ATA's for this certification. The course also exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for IA Renewal, Maintenance Awards Program, repair station, and FAR 135 certificates for the Learjet 60 aircraft.
